Hello Families,
Our letter for the week was Zz.
When you say Zz the tip of your tongue touches above your top teeth and your
voice box is on. We have been zooming through the alphabet. The students should
know all the letter names and almost all the sounds.
We did not have a sight word this
week. We continued to work on said.
Parent
Teacher Club meetings this week. THURSDAY! TONIGHT! 5:30 PM It is a great
opportunity to help out our school. Come and find out about the school
carnival.
The
students have been working hard on their green sight word books and the purple
missing numbers. Most students have finished these books. They are now working on
their red number book or orange 1-20 book. It has been so much fun to see them
compete a book. Please review these books with your child when they come home
in Friday Folders. Students are very excited when then finish a book!
This
week in our spelling table we have been working on Non-Sense words. These are
words that are made up. It is just to work on sounds.

Most students already returned their Fish Hatchery Field
Trip paper. Yea!!! A few students still have these slips at home.
