Kindergarten
News
Hello Families,
This week we learned the letter t.
When you say t, the tip of your tongue touches above your top teeth. Be careful
when making the t sound that you are not saying tuh.
We are learning to read words.
Right now we know how to read I, see, the, my, and like! Yea! Please continue
to practice these words at home.
Homework!!! Yea!! I love getting
completed homework. Please work on your child’s name and their numbers.
Book orders went home last week,
they are due by November 22. Books make great gifts.

Thompson
REMEMBER – No School
November 11th.
NO KINDERGARTEN FRIDAY
Friday, November 4th is a planning day for Miss
Thompson. There will be no Kindergarten. Big kids still have school.
All visitors to Hawthorne are required to check in at the
office and to wear a “Visitors” badge. If you are not wearing a “Visitors”
badge you should be directed to the office to check in by a staff member. We do
this to ensure the safety of all students and we appreciate your understanding
and cooperation on this matter. If you have any questions about Hawthorne’s
visitor policy please contact Mr. Beck.
If you would like to be informed of school closures due to
inclement weather or school start-time delays please sign up for
flashalert.net.
Be sure to check out the Kindergarten website for photos and
news!
