The fourth annual Youth Advisory Council’s
dam run and walk event at Foster Dam is this Saturday, June 16.
Registration is open through that morning, with check-in starting at 8
a.m. at the graveled parking lot near Poplar Street next to Foster Dam.
A kids fun run will begin at 9 a.m. with a 5K run and 2K walk immediately following. THE KIDS FUN RUN IS FREE!!!!
Participants will be asked to walk a one-half mile warm up from the check-in to the starting line on North River Drive and the Dam Road intersection.
Cost is $10. Proceeds will go to the Sweet Home Public Library’s stained glass window project and the Sweet Home Emergency Ministries food bank.
