Hello Families,
This will be your last Friday
Folder News!! ☹ It has been a wonderful year. Your child today is
coming home with LOTS of fun things. Please be sure to go through their grocery
sack and look at all their work.
In Friday Folders you will find a
bright green book. This is summer vacation homework. Please look at it now!
Bring the completed book back the first week of First Grade for a special
treat.
We worked on all sorts of things
this week. Finishing up all sorts of projects. Not every student had the chance
to finish all of his or her workbooks. These non-completed workbook pages make
great summer homework.
Monday
June 11th – Hike. We will hike from one side of the park to the other. We will
end at the tall staircase next to the waterfall. Please make sure your child is
wearing closed toed shoes, no flip flops or dress shoes please!!! If you would
like to join us, please do!
Tuesday
June 12th – Graduation. We will be having a small graduation party in the gym
on Tuesday. The morning class will be from 9:30 to 10:30. The afternoon class
will have a similar party in the afternoon starting at 12:30.
Report
cards will be mailed home. I will also send home the data from the spring
reading testing. Report cards should be mailed June 14th

Thank you all for the great privilege of teaching your
children this year. I learned so much from each one of them and from all of
you! Thank you for your support this year. I will miss all of these kids!!
I will continue to update the class website with photos from
our adventures next week. Please continue to read the website. I also have a
few posts planned for the summer months about opportunities in the community.
